I’ve been running masterminds since 2018 but they didn’t look anything like Power. I was very green, had no facilitator training or real leadership experience.

I took anyone who had $10K.

I fumbled my way through, and somehow came out the other side with a few solid testimonials from people who’ll say that working with me forever changed the trajectory of their careers—people like Justin Blackman, Katelyn Collins, Zafira Rajan, Allison Evelyn, Leisl Brooke...I could do this all day.

But I wanted Power to be different.

I wanted a grown-up mastermind with a higher standard of care than anything I’d ever offered before, something beyond what anyone would expect.

…in a place that would feel safe enough to share the real-real of their dreams, their struggles and who they want to become next.

Someone did that for me back in 2021, and the experience was instrumental in bringing to life the Tarzan who shows up in your inbox every Tuesday.

It was a place for me to share a version of myself the world hadn't met yet, to share my most out-there stories about getting mixed up with a cult leader or being in a throuple, to sunset offers and ditch tried-and-true strategies without knowing what would come next. I will never forget that experience.

It supported me in ways I didn't know I needed, and wouldn’t fully appreciate until years later. This is often the case with a truly great mastermind—the ripple effects go on for years. To this day, I’m unpacking the many things that mastermind experience gave me.

It taught me what a mastermind could be (and should be). I’d only ever experienced pyramids and being told what to do. That’s not what Power is about.

​Power is a circle not a pyramid.

It’s leadership from people standing beside you, and the wisdom you carry within you.

Two years ago while on retreat in Malta, one of our members said, “I don’t know why but I feel so safe in this group…,” and went on to share a HILARIOUS BUT UNFORTUNATELY PRIVATE dream she’d been secretly harboring.

That was a highlight of Power for me.

That’s when I knew that I’d done what I set out to do—to create a space where you feel safe enough to birth the version of yourself that best serves your body, your business, your community, and all the concentric circles that gather around you.

It takes an enormous amount of time, energy and resources to create a space like that. It takes oversight and accountability at the leadership level - i.e. support for me, who has a multitude of people overseeing my facilitation - to make Power a space that is safe enough for members to birth whatever wants to come next, sometimes not even knowing what that is.

Doing it all over again makes me nervous, but in a good way, with the anticipation of doing something hard that I know will be rewarding.

I still feel like I am just getting warmed up. I took THREE facilitator training programs during the last cohort of Power, plus I’m starting another this Fall. Every year my capacity to hold space for other people to grow gets bigger. I am deeply devoted to the work of facilitating transformation.
